Sophie van Hasselt is a Dutch indie pop artist, songwriter and vocalist known for her dreamy yet sharp lyricism, soft pop melodies and cinematic sensibility. With a background in visual storytelling and a strong presence in both the fashion and music worlds, she brings emotional depth and clarity to every track she writes and performs.
Her work spans film, TV, games and advertising, where she delivers broadcast-ready music that is both emotionally powerful and commercially relevant. She was the voice and face of T-Mobile’s 2021 campaign, wrote bespoke songs for the autumn 2024 and spring 2025 Kleertjes.com campaigns and a Wehkamp TV commercial, and placed “A Bit of Love” in the German TV dramedy This Is Gonna Be Great and “EaT mY bRaiN” in the Dutch film De Leeuwin.
Her vocal performances move from fragile and intimate to punchy and powerful, and she is currently writing toward a new album.
